If you do not already have a data plan, you can sign up for one by doing one of the following:

*Note: Without a data plan, Sprint Navigation will incur data usage costs.

Q: How do I use Sprint Navigation?
A: Once you start the Sprint Navigation application, simply enter your destination address or select it from your list of Recent Places. Sprint Navigation will calculate a route to that destination based upon your current GPS location. As you approach a turn, Sprint Navigation will provide audible driving directions, such as "Turn Left on Main Street." If you miss a turn, Sprint Navigation will re-route you.

Q: How do I use the Pre-Trip Planner?
A: Visit sprint.com/navigation and log in with your account number and PIN. Enter addresses to have them automatically sent to your phone (saves triple-tapping) or get text directions and a map for printout.

Q: Where can I find my PIN to login to sprint.com/navigation?
A: Launch Sprint Navigation on your phone and go to Tools/Extras > Contact > PIN Number.

Q: How do I unsubscribe to Sprint Navigation?
A: Call customer care to remove the service or change data plans.

Q: Can I receive phone calls while using Sprint Navigation?
A: Yes! When the call comes in, you can elect to accept the call. Sprint Navigation is suspended and you can converse normally. Once the call is over, you can select to “Resume” the application.

Q: Can I make phone calls while using Sprint Navigation?
A: Yes! From the directory, select the Call option to dial the business or location you have found. This is handy for making restaurant and hotel reservations.

Q: Does Sprint Navigation use up my voice plan minutes?
A: Sprint Navigation uses data to provide its navigation functions. Using data does not use any of your voice minutes. However, calling the Voice Address Input System does use about 75 seconds per address entered. The Voice Call feature internal to the Sprint Navigation application also uses voice minutes.
